It’s been touch and go with knowing what impact Australian Open of Surfing will have on the beach proximate to the Club but we have a good picture now.
Only a slight adjustment will be required with the U6/U7 area normally on the southern side of the club temporarily relocated to the northern side as AOS have commenced set up and the southern side of the Club will be out-of-bounds now until 6 Mar 17.

Focus this Sunday will be on some of our event rules and technique, just in time for our Club Championships to be held the following week on 19 Feb 17.

Normal provisions stand for hi-vis rash/singlet and Nipper Cap for water activities this week, pending conditions. The forecast predicts an E swell with W winds so probable that it will be bigger, messy surf on North Steyne. Here’s hoping for a change before then.
