It’s Nipper families turn to volunteer to cook and sell at the North Steyne SLSC barbecue in the club boatshed.

Nippers are not on this day, so it’s a great chance to get together and earn some funds to keep costs down for our Nipper program.

Club Champs are on tomorrow but the water is a ‘bit big’ so only beach events are on. The rain is likely to keep a few people away so Peter (big-boss-man-BBQ) has asked me to adjust the timings a touch.

Never mind if you can’t change from the original timings. I’m sure ‘we’ can cover the transition.

The three shifts have changed slightly: Shift 1 (8-9:30am), Shift 2 (9:30-11am) or Shift 3 (11-12.30).

Don’t forget to wear something North Steyne and remember that enclosed shoes are required for safety when working near the barbecues.

No experience is necessary and if even I can cook an edible sausage or egg, then YOU CAN TOO!
