So if you aren’t keen to do some cooking on the BBQ, consider feeding the competitive beast inside and giving Club Champs a go!
PROGRAMME:
9am Report for 9.15am Start
1. First up is Beach Sprints U15, U17, U19, Opens then Masters.
2. Next, the Pine Street Beach Sprint Challenge for General Members and non-patrolling members only.
This is especially targeted at parents of Nippers and Cadets as well as our Associate and Life members, all are welcome to participate in this beach sprint event.
3. Beach Flags: U15, U17, U19, Opens then Masters
4. Board Race: U15, U17, U19, Opens then Masters
5. Surf Race: U15, U17, U19, Opens then Masters
6. North Steyne`d Life Saving Team Challenge. A mix of any ages from the U15, U17, U19, Opens plus Masters divisions, but all teams MUST include a min of one Masters competitor i.e. aged 30 plus. Four competitors per team. Random names to form teams will be drawn out of a hat by a North Steyne official on the day and each team will be responsible to work out their own positions.
This is North Steyne`s very own, modified, life saving relay which will be made up of one patient swimmer, one tube swimmer, one board rescue paddler to rescue the patient to return to shore and one beach runner to complete the event.
Don`t miss out. There are some great prize packs for the winning team.
Note: All participants must be proficient to participate in the Club Champs events, min SRC, excluding the Pine Street Beach Sprint Challenge which is open to all our non-patrolling members.
All individual participants will receive a voucher for participation and race placings will be calculated for our End of Season Awards (excludes the Pine St Beach Sprint Challenge).
Please join us afterwards for presentations, vouchers and prizes and refreshments in the club room from 12 noon.
